IP cameras, or internet protocol cameras, can send and receive data via a computer network and the Internet. There are two types of IP cameras: centralized IP cameras, which require a central network video recorder (NVR) to handle the recording, video and alarm management, and decentralized IP cameras, which do not require a central NVR, as the cameras have recording function built-in and can record directly to any standard storage media. The main advantage of IP cameras is that they allow you to connect to the internet via a broadband network and remotely view live video from any web browser in the world.
Our range of IP cameras can be viewed below. They are available in 720p up to 1080p (the higher the number, the clearer the recorded footage will be). With various packages to choose from, you can find the package that’s ideal for your home or business. If you need more information about IP cameras or would like to discuss our CCTV installation services, you can call us on 0800 633 8486 and we’ll be happy to chat about any enquiries.
